Aug 25 (Reuters) - An area of low pressure located 350 miles
(563 km) southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has a high 90
percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48
hours, the National Hurricane Center said in a report on
Thursday.
"A Tropical Depression could be forming" the NHC said.
The system was moving westwards at 10 to 15 miles per hour
(16-24 kmph).
Meanwhile, another low pressure system located about 1150
miles (1850 km) east-northeast of the northern Leeward Islands
has a low chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next
couple of days, the NHC added.
